Margie was married to a Vietnam veteran Timothy Owen. They were happily married for 49 years. She was a wonderful mother of Carrie and Ryan Owen. Margie lived for her 5 grandchildren she loved so dearly. They were her world. Margie was a teacher for 20yrs. She was an inspiration for all of her students and anyone who knew her. A true role model. She had two kids but truly mothered many. She never met a stranger and would do anything for her kids and grandkids. Margie was one of the best friends you could have. In life she was full of energy, kindness, love, support, friendship. She was a great listener and never judged a single soul! Margie taught aerobics and coached swimming. Then later would go on to coach cheerleading and volleyball. She retired as a P.E. coach from south Lincoln school. Then dedicated all her time to raising her grand babies she was always involved in all their activities. Margie always had a ear for listening, shoulder to cry on, and a helping hand no matter who you were. To say the least she was very accomplished and had a heart of gold! God gained a wonderful angel. Margie will be missed and never forgotten !!
"Margie" is survived by her husband Timothy Owen; daughter Carrie Pressnell; and son Ryan Owen; daughter-in-law Karla Owen, grandsons Tyler Quick, Rowdy Wood, and Ryan Owen Jr.; granddaughters Bailey Owen, and Rylee Owen.
A visitation for "Margie" will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with burial at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
