I knew Margie and her past husband Dick Sasnett. They lived across the street from me in Elementary to High school. I remember when she told me that she meet Dick when he ran A&W on 5th Ave
(Governors Drive) and then they had a sign shop. They were really great friends. I talked with her a lot because I do history for Huntsville Rewound. She will be missed.

I only knew Margie for a few years through sharing a seat next to her at our painting class at Hobby Lobby. She always lifted my spirits with her smile and sweet spirit. She sent me a beautiful devotional book when my husband passed away. I will always cherish the time spent with her. My prayers go out to her family. Paint those "happy little trees" in heaven!

I had the privilege of working with Margie back in the mid-50’s at Redstone Arsenal, Industrial Division! I was young and in my first job with the Government! She was “the best!” So pleased to learn that she had a wonderful long life and I’m sorry for your loss ! Joann Clark DeGroff
