Marie Dominique Hanneguelle Danson, 79 of Huntsville, AL passed away on Friday, March 10, 2019. Dominique was born in Trélazé, France on March 30, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Hanneguelle; brother, André Hanneguelle.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jahn Danson; son, Gerome Danson (Colleen), daughter, Valerie Dizy (Herve); son, André Danson (Jennifer); grandchildren, Alexandra Bowling (Chris); Christian Danson, Dominique Dizy, Isabelle Dizy, Mary Catherine Danson, Matthew Danson and Blake Danson.
Dominique loved needlepoint, knitting, she was an avid reader of historical novels and an avid tennis player. She was an active member of Bicentennial Chapel and a member of the choir. She also was a member of the Huntsville Opera. Dominique shared her love through cooking. One of her passions was to travel to her homeland, especially to Noirmoutier near the ocean. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 9:00am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 625 Airport Road, Huntsville, AL 35802. Inurnment will follow services at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the Garden of Valor, 698 Winchester Road, NE, Huntsville, AL 35811.
