My job at The ALS Association is such a blessing because I am privileged enough to get to meet people like Mason. While my goal is to provide support to people living with ALS and their families, they always end up supporting and encouraging me as well. I am so blessed to have called Mason my friend and at times personal cheerleader! Many people who know me know that public speaking is not my favorite thing and one of my favorite memories is at last year's Walk to Defeat ALS I was giving my kickoff speech and I looked down from the stage and Mason was smiling ear to ear and giving me two thumbs up. That's what I'll miss the most about Mason - his encouragement, his smile, his goofy sense of humor and his unwavering optimism. My prayers are with his family and friends. Rest in peace my sweet friend. I'll see you later.
