She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Anthony; parents, John S. and Maude Lillie Gray; brothers, John R. Gray and James (Jim) S. Gray; sisters, Flora Broyles, Mildred Carrol, Nettie Thomas and Clara Mason.
Mrs. Anthony is survived by her son, Elder Jimmy (Rose) Anthony; daughters, Shirley (Jessie Wayne) Wilbanks and Barbara (Blackie) Martin; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Valhalla Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Jerome Hilliard and Elder Darrel Chambers will officiate. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
