He is survived by his wife of 56 years Alice K. Chapman, his son Jonathan Chapman and daughter-in-law Traci Chapman, his daughter Tonya Chapman, five grandchildren - Alek, Shane, Abigail, Jack and Olivia, brother and sister in-law Richard and Joanne Chapman and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Colonel Charles “Tut” & Betty Chapman and sister Barbara T. Chapman.
A visitation for Mike will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home's Celebration Chapel. Interment will immediately follow with Full Military Honors at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mike had many loves in his life - The Army, riding his motorcycles, margaritas, and Alabama football. But his greatest love was his family.
