Betty (Callahan) Lucero, age 90, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away at home on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Betty was born on June 11, 1932 in Maple Shade, New Jersey to Mildred C Callahan and Elmar S Callahan. Betty married the love of her life Fred Lucero on September 1, 1951 in Easton, Maryland. They would go on to build a large family. She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family.
Betty is survived by her daughter Terry Lucero States (Keith); her daughter Susi Lucero Smith (Brian); her son Michael F Lucero (Bel); her son Mark R Lucero; and her son Tim Lucero; her grandchildren Rosemary Lucero, Anna Lucero, Greg Lucero, and Macy Lucero and her in-laws Ellen Callahan, Edwardine Callahan, Richard Lucero, Gloria Lucero, Bobby Lucero, Ruth Lucero, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Fred Lucero; her son Gregory D Lucero; her father Elmar S Callahan and her mother Mildred C Callahan.
The family held a private service on January 19, 2023.
