Patricia Ann Whitfield

Patricia was born February 10, 1940 in Opp, Al to Joseph and Lois Vines. She preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Vines and her sister Carol Smith.

Patricia is survived by her son; John Haley (Mary), her daughter; Lisa Chandler (Andy), her brother; Joe Vines, two granddaughters; Jessica Linval and Chassy Wilcox, five great grandchildren; Elizabeth Philyaw, Codi Philyaw and Zane Philyaw, Ethan Wilcox and Lucas Wilcox and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Patricia spent her whole life taking care of children and others as needed. She owned Ms. Pat’s Child Care and Development Center in Madison, Al for almost 40 years and prior to that she was the owner of an electronic testing company. She helped anyone she could and treated everyone like family because to her they were. She was loved by so many and she will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. A celebration of life service will occur Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Patricia will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville, AL.
