I’ve been serving with Paul in the sound ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsvile ever since I moved to the area in 2003. Since he knew I currently serve as a member of the Navy Reserve, Paul would bring me copies of his Tin Can Sailor newsletter subscription once he was finished and talk with me about his own service as a Sailor. He brought that experience to NASA and to Calvary, demonstrating his knowledge, helping me to understand how our sound equipment functioned, and even building a compressor for the live feed he would record, before mixing it down and dubbing tapes for members. He served in the background at Calvary with a smile on his face and there was no doubt, after speaking with him for only a short while, he lived with the assurance he would someday see his Savior face-to-face. Well, I’m willing to bet Paul has the biggest smile on his face this very moment because he there with our Savior right now. Our loss is God’s gain. See ya soon Paul!

My Uncle Paul was a kind, caring man.  I will never forget the times he played his accordion at family get togethers and reunions.  He was a soft spoken man who seemed to know how to fix everything! To my sweet Aunt Sandra and cousins David and Tim - You are all in our thoughts and prayers.  I wish we could be there with you during this difficult time.  We wish you heavenly peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

I will always cherish the wonderful times I spent with Uncle Paul during holidays, events and reunions.  He will be remembered, and his positive life as an example for us all. My husband and I were members of Calvary Baptist for 24 years before moving to Fort Worth, Texas. Paul Holland was at the church all of the 24 years we were members. Anytime I wanted a recording or anything Paul would have a smile on his face and say “I will have it to you by the next church meeting”. His faithfulness to God and to the church was an example to all of us. I considered him a good and faithful friend. He will be greatly missed.  

I worked at NASA-MSFC in the Astrionics Laboratory with Paul for many years. He was a good electronics technician keeping our mainframe computers operating and doing other elctronics design and mantenance.  As I worked around him over the years I grew to know him as a good man and a man of the Christian faith. Paul was always calm and peaceful when things around us were were sometimes stressful and always changing.  I go to church with J.W. Eubanks who was in Paul's Computers Division and was a friend of Paul and he would give me regular updates on Paul.  May our Lord by His Grace and by Paul's Faith give his soul smooth transport under Angel's wings into his eternal home in Heaven and comfort his wife Sandra and family and friends as he makes his passage

Uncle Paul was so very kind.  We worked at NASA together for a little while until he retired.  He would come by the office and check on me and sometimes drop by my house on his way to Tim's.  It makes me smile to think of his joy.  I loved to hear him play the accordion.  He was so engaging.  He had a heart for God and a heart for others.  I know you guys miss him so much.

Mr. Holland was a great friend to dad and I have a lot of memories of times we did things together when we were growing up.  He was a great testimony and example to follow.  Jane and I are praying that God will comfort each of you as only He can.

Paul was a steadfast example of faithful service.  He was always quietly in place to keep things operating smoothly in the sound department.  He was a face I looked forward to seeing in  every service.  
Paul will be greatly missed.   His gentle spirit  was a blessing to all. 

I have known Mr Holland for over 50 years. He was a great man with many talents. All the Terry family sends our prayers to the family. We know he is in Heaven.

Mr. Holland was such an amazing man, ever faithful. I got to know him at church as he faithfully served in the IT/sound room. He will be missed. Prayers for the family.
