Rebecca was born October 26, 1961 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Allen “Glenn” Elkins and Marie Osborne Elkins. She was a graduate of Johnson High School. Rebecca always had a passion for working with and caring for children. After high school, she, began a career in childcare at Jackson Way Child Development Center and retired after 34 years of service. Rebecca loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Chase Park Church of Christ, Huntsville, Alabama.
Rebecca leaves to cherish precious memories her husband, John Powell; brother, Scott Elkins; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
