Richard Eugene Thomas

Gene retired as Director of Engineering from Thiokol Chemical Corporation and served as an electrician and consultant with local charities for many years. Gene lived a beautiful life and was a loving and hardworking man dedicated to his family. He was compassionate and caring and enjoyed his many four-legged pets he had cared for throughout his life. He enjoyed raising livestock on his property in Harvest and anything that involved being with family and friends.

Gene is preceded in death by his mother, Nova Lackey; grandson Michael Bedsole.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Iva Elizabeth Shelley Thomas; sister Toni Rohrig; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Valerie Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Mark Wall; grandsons James Bedsole, Tyler J. Thomas,Thomas Ryan Wall, Phillip Mark Wall and Ross William Wall; great grandchildren Chris, Luke and Drew Bedsole; Hali Thomas; Katherine Alice and Brendan Thomas Wall; Elenor Wren, Saylor Elizabeth and Bo Waker Wall; Rayna Maelene and Maxine Nicole Wall.
