Robert (Bob) E. Carter, 66 of Gurley, Alabama passed away on August 31, 2021. Bob was born March 15, 1955 in Springfield, Missouri. Proceeded in Death by his Father, James Stewart Carter and his Mother Charlotte Anna Carter, Brother James Stewart Carter Jr. and Sister Mary Carter Cassou. Mr. Carter was survived by his wife Lili Colleen (Howard) Carter and Sister in Laws, Lucinda (Robert) Edwards, Lisa Hightower, Lauri (Fawzi) Shamieh, Lynn-Amy (Frank) Williams, and 2 Nieces and 8 Nephews, 2 Great-Nieces and 4 Great-Nephews.
Robert was known by his friends as Bob. He graduated from O’Fallon High School in Missouri and built his career in Huntsville, Alabama as a Composite Technician working with Contractors on Redstone Arsenal at Marshall Space Fight Center.
Visitation will be at The Valhalla Funeral Home on Sunday September 5, 2021 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm and the Funeral will follow at 2:00pm. In lieu of flower donations can be made to GracesofGurley.org\donations.
