Ruth Moore

Annie Ruth Moore, 81 of New Market, AL went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 3, 2025. Ruth was born in Huntsville, Alabama on July 09, 1943. She was a loved member of Union Grove Church of Christ, a passionate home chef who would cook for anyone, a lover of fresh cut flowers, and someone whose life was rooted with deep love of family and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother, Annie D. Wharton; father, Paul Wharton; three sisters: Rella, Irene, and Margaret; four brothers: Everett, Paul, Tommy and Albert; one grandson little Randy.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: daughter Angelia Denney (Phillip), son Randall Treadaway (Debbie). 8 grandchildren Danielle, Davy, Kristy, Brandon, Tarah, Hayley, Amber, and Seth; 24 great-grandchildren, many loved nieces and nephews, her best friend Linda McCord and her favorite furry companion Precious.

Visitation with the family will be from 11am to 1pm at Valhalla Funeral Home Celebration Chapel, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. A Celebration of Life Service, conducted by Bro. Bill Cantrell and Bro. Ben May, to begin at 1pm. Ruth will be laid to rest immediately following in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Long, Nicholas Crisler, Steve Bullard, Joe Mayhall, Brian Wharton and Aaron McCord with honorary pallbearers being Chuck Bullard and Thomas Wharton.
