Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Billy Hudson, sister Barbara Elmore, daughter Betty Lones, and granddaughter Karen Hudson.
Shirley was born in Madison County on December 11, 1938. She was a lifelong member of Chase Baptist church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Valhalla Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Valhalla Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Pastor Larry Johnson of Chase Baptist Church will be officiating.
