I believe this picture was taken 33 years ago. It is the 3 Grooms brothers together. I’m pretty sure it was my Uncle Dewayne’s 50th birthday. They always referred to each other as # 1, 2 & 3 according to their ages. This is one of my favorite pictures of all of them together ❤️

I would like to start off by saying that I will miss my dad very much.  Anytime I needed some help or ask his advice and even when I didn’t (LOL) he was always there to lend a hand.  I would like to take a moment and share a funny story about my dad.  A lot of family and friends would ask me where did I learn how to cook and I would tell them from my father, as you know he taught me everything I know about cooking.  For those that knew him, he just could cook, he tried but he only had two special dishes.  One was fried potatoes and hotdogs and the other was turkey bags over toast.  

My last word is from the Grooms men to our father, we have the ball, and we will go forth.  No need to worry, you did an excellent job, we will be OK,

Going to miss sneaking pictures of him and dad together. He always laughed when I got caught by him or dad.

This is the Grooms family many years ago. Taylor, Uncle Dwayne to me, has an older brother, Dickie, who lives in Michigan. These 2 brothers talked everyday on the phone, about life, sports, politics??? and family.  Their conversation always ended with Absolutely brother. Absolutely.  The use of Absolutely was said in honor of #3 brother. You will be missed #2.  Love from #1 and family.

Over the last 7 years my father in law and I shared a lot of laughs and conversations.  When I was in town he would come over Saturdays and Sundays to enjoyed home cooked Vietnamese meal.  He would eat everything and asked for the recipe. I would tell him “ancient Chinese secret “.  He barely can cook much less authentic Vietnamese food.  We enjoyed watching football together.  But he would fall asleep right after the 1st quarter and would snore loudly and wake up and pretended he watched the entire game.  I will missed him tremendously!   He was terrible with learning how to use his iPhone.  Made me laugh.  Love you grandpa! !

My dad was a great guy I’m going to miss him. He always tried to help in any way he could. He helped me with projects around the house and always offered suggestions on how to do things. I may not have followed some those suggestions but I knew it came from the heart. Every year we would watch football games and yell at the TV when the Lions played bad which was a lot. He enjoyed going to the grandkids birthday parties and watching them play. Love you dad. Miss you.

He’s definitely going to be missed by all. He was such a wonderful person and always loved his family. I loved sitting with him when things got loud at a get together. We’d talk and enjoy the silence together and i just loved sitting with him and enjoying his company.  He was always observing the fun and watching everyone. He gave the best hugs ever. I love him very much and will miss him very much. One of the best grandpas ever.

You were the funniest guy and always had a lesson with your stories. I see where dad gets it from now. Miss you so much right now. RIP To you OG Grooms

My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed. 
I got to know Taylor while he was living at the commons.  He was fun to be around. We shared many laughs and hugs. He would hang around and drink coffee and work on puzzles with us. He was always lending a hand in helping out without being asked.
 He was a good friend. I will miss him.

I feel so blessed having known Taylor for 5 years. We worked lots of puzzles at the Commons and then exercise and bingo at the senior center. I will miss him very much.
