Viola Lee Stancil, 90 years old of Toney, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Stancil, Jr. and her grandson, Michael Heath Stockberger.
Left to cherish her memories are one brother, three sisters, two daughters, one granddaughter, two grandsons and nine great grandchildren.
Viola was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Huntsville, Alabama and was a lifelong homemaker. She was a devoted wife and followed her husband all over the world during his Naval career, being very active in the Officer's Wives Club. While in Guam, she volunteered regularly as a Red Cross Nurse.
She cherished her family and was known as Meime to everyone.
Services will be held for Viola at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811 on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 11:00am with Pastor Tom Alexander from the Community of Christ Church officiating.
