Virginia taught Sunday School many years at various Baptist Churches where her husband pastored. She loved her Church and family very much and was always doing things for them. She loved working in her flower garden, creating flower arrangements for the church and making quilts for family and friends. She retired from USAMICOM after 38 years of service.
Survivors are her loving husband, Orville “Ray” of 64 years; four daughters, Cynthia A. Jaqua (David) of Somerville, TN, Brenda M. Brooks (Bryan) of Meridianville, AL, Delores M. Ranolph (Robert) of Fayetteville, TN, Lisa M. Balch (Dana) of New Market, AL; four granddaughters and five grandsons; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister, Myra Helen Hunkapiller of Madison, AL.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 on Thursday December 13 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 14 at 11:30 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with David Jaqua & Bryan Brooks officiating. Soloist Timothy Springer will honor Mrs. McMillan with song. Burial will follow with Graveside Services at Cochran Cemetery in New Market. Pallbearers will be Michael, Matthew and Daniel Horton, Zachary Balch, Clayton Bentley and Terry Temptleton.
