Walter Dwight Buck November 12, 1931 – July 28, 2017 Mr. Walter Buck passed away July 28, 2017 in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Buck retired from General Electric with 41 years of service. He was a member of Cahaba Shriners, a member of Holmes Street United Methodist Church of Huntsville, AL and a former member of South Congregational Church of Pittsfield, MA. Mr. Buck was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth F. Buck, father Phillip T Buck and mother Edith Buck. Survivors include son Walter David Buck and wife Debi, daughter Linda Buck Putnam, grandchildren; Mary E Leamons of Houston, TX, Christopher A Putnam of Weinbach, Germany, Chris Buck, Erin Buck and Matthew Buck of Lawton, OK and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Buck is also survived by his sisters; Helen Welch and Barbara MacNayr of Pittsfield, MA and Jean Campbell of Canton, NY. Visitation for Mr. Buck will be Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. with services following at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner Hospital of Greenville, SC.
