

William Gentry Hull, age 88, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. William was born March 4, 1937 in Memphis, TN. to the late William Charles and Bernice Stone Hull. William was a member deacon and trustee at Lakewood Baptist Church, where he was an avid supporter of the youth group. William retired from the FFA as a Computer Tech,after retirement he volunteered at Christmas Charities, drove a school bus for Huntsville City Schools and the American Red Cross. William also loved talking on his Ham Radio to people all over the United States. William was a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE). William proudly served our country while serving in the United States Air Force.
Beside his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Geneva Hull. Son Charles Hull, step-son David Wilks, brother Nelson Hull and sister Mary Hull Payne.
William is survived by his special daughter and caregiver Teresa Ingram and special daughter Fay Louhela. Brother and sister in law, Franklin and Mary Hull. Sister in law Margie Hull. Granddaughter Jessica Farrell and her husband Tim. And a special friends Opal Meek, Dan and Sandy Turner. As well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for William will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd, Huntsville, AL. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life with military honors at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel, 698 Winchester Rd, Huntsville, AL. William will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers please make donation in the name of William Gentry Hull to the Alzheimer's Association or to Lakewood Baptist Church. A special thank you to Hospice of North Alabama and all the staff at Tutt Fann and especially the F Wing for all they did for Mr. Hull and his visitors.
