Bailey Nicolaus Stauch

Bailey was, above all else, a young man with a golden heart. He loved deeply, cared fiercely, and possessed a strong sense of justice. He had an instinct for standing up for people, particularly when he believed someone was being treated unfairly. Those who knew Bailey knew both his tenderness and his strength—the enormous heart beneath everything he did.

He approached the things he loved with passion. Bailey was an avid Ohio State football fan and a devoted Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved rock climbing and was a gifted volleyball player, with the athleticism and competitive spirit to excel at both. He also had a lifelong love of cars, an interest that eventually became his career at Lockhart Cadillac.

But Bailey was so much more than the things he enjoyed or the work he did. He was a son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, teammate and friend. He was funny, passionate, determined, and deeply loved. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.

Bailey is survived by his mother, Ann Marie Wallace, and stepfather, Brian Wallace; his father, Nicolaus Stuach; his grandmother, Cyndy Stauch; his two sisters, Olivia Kirk (Stauch) and Madeleine Stauch; half-sister, Julia Stauch; half-brother, Luke Wallace; four stepsisters, Madison child (Wallace), Morgan Brock (Wallace), Frankie and Zoe Viglietta; two stepbrothers, Ryan and Nathan Wallace; and three nieces, Emilia and Callie Wallace and Charlotte Brock. He is also survived by two aunts, three uncles, thirteen cousins, and many extended family members and friends who loved him.

He is predeceased in death by his Grandfather Fred Stauch, Grandmother Lou Ann Martin and Grandfather Jim Pepper.

His family will carry that heart with them—the love he gave, his fierce belief in what was right, his passions, his laughter, and all the pieces of him that made Bailey uniquely Bailey.

He was loved beyond words, and he will be missed beyond measure.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2-4 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th St., Indianapolis, Indiana to celebrate Bailey’s life.
