I have so many memories of Billie, she was a gentle, powerful, strong woman in a small, pulled together and beautiful package. For me she was Mary’s mom, Craig’s mom, Shannon’s mom, Scotty's mom…our extended family, a neighborhood mom. I see her in the blue Gremlin cruising up and around the boulevard as she drove home from Glendale. I saved the small cross-stitched keepsake with my graduation date that she gave me and was reminded of her thoughtfulness when she sent a delicate ‘baby’s first Christmas’ ornament for my first born. She worked, raised 7 amazing children and maintained her independence and strength. She was dearly loved and created a tribe of connected family who know how to celebrate the gifts they bring and carry each other through the inevitable bumps in life. She is already missed and I hope that she knows she had a powerful impact on my life. Sending so much love to the entire family.
