Dorothy was born on January 15, 1932 in Waldron, IN to the late Bryan Sr. and Mabel (Gaunce) Toll. Dorothy (Dottie) was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church (and formerly St. Pius X Catholic Church) of Indianapolis. She was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son Tony Primavera (Kim); son Tom Primavera (Suzy); and daughter Gina Navabi (Michael), and brothers Bryan Toll (Donna Sue) and Tom Toll (best friend Ginny) – as well as 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dottie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert Primavera, along with brothers John and Fred, and sisters Lola, Nettie, Barbara, and Margaret.
Dottie’s passions were her family; friends; her love for baking (especially the cookies that were always delivered with a ribbon or bow); cross-stitching; and her volunteer work at Little Sisters of the Poor. And of course … her talent for CLEANING.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Leppert Mortuary, 740 East 86th Street, Indianapolis on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m, with a rosary at 8:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holliday Dr. East, Indianapolis, IN, followed by private interment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
The Primavera family would like to acknowledge and thank Dottie’s loving niece, Ladonna Darmer, for her tireless support and love; and the myriad of doctors and health care professionals.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 2345 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260 (www.littlesistersofthepoorindianapolis.org)
