Katherine "Katie" McEvoy

Katie was the beloved wife of the late Michael McEvoy. She was a dear sister to the late Danny Murphy and Eileen (Barney) Moran, and she is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her grand nieces and grand nephews.

Born on October 9, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, Katie carried her Irish heritage with great pride throughout her life. She cherished time spent with her many friends and was known for her warmth, humor, and enduring spirit of connection.

A Funeral Mass will be held on May 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica Catholic Church in Indianapolis. A Celebration of Life will be held later this year in her hometown of Detroit, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her life.

Katie will be deeply missed, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
