Linda was the first Roche spouse to have an article in the newsletter spotlighting her commitment and contributions to the community. At the time she was one of only three residents of Indianapolis to receive the Evangeline Booth Award of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. Linda served as the President of the Women’s Auxiliary Board three times during her 15 plus years with the organization. Through this commitment she led efforts for fundraising and directly gave of her time to support the many causes of the Salvation Army. She was proud to help the homeless with their addiction problems; provide meals at various functions; and provide assistance to senior citizens. She also was an avid golfer; enjoyed watching PGA tournaments over the weekends and cheering on Jordan Spieth.
Her memory will live on through her daughter, Kimberlin Pickett of Indianapolis; her grandsons Justin (Kelli) Burger of California and Reece Mainer of North Carolina; and many beloved extended family and friends. She is reuniting in heaven with her husband, parents and son Mark.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Hooverwood for the thoughtful comfort and care they provided to her.
