Macy was a very special person, with a big, beautiful smile that lit up every room she walked into. She had a way of making you feel like a lifelong friend, even if you just met.

She enjoyed reading about astrology and shared a special bond with her mother, in that they were both Cancers. Their birthdays were just two days apart, and they often celebrated together.

Macy was very high-energy, had an incredible work ethic, and truly loved her work. She was the employee that every employer wishes to have.

Beyond work, Macy loved going to concerts and amusement parks. She also attended Camp Tecumseh for five years, and was well traveled for her young age. She visited more than ten states - some of them multiple times - along with the Bahamas, Mexico, and Turks & Caicos. She was looking forward to visiting Hawaii in October for Fall Break. She loved being in the sun.

Macy was also a fierce competitor. If a group of family or friends were together, she made sure there were board games and card games to play.

She loved playing softball and played competitively for 7 years making many lifelong friends. She also spent 12 years dancing with Dance Creations.

More than anything, Macy enjoyed simply hanging out with her friends - and she had many. Her friends became like family, not just to Macy, but to the rest of the Miller family as well.

In her 18 years, Macy enriched the lives of everyone who came into contact with her. She was a strong, brave, independent girl with a big, loving heart.

Macy was deeply loved by so many people. We will miss her always.

I keep thinking about your laugh and your smile and I wish I could hear it just one more time. It was so contagious. You literally laughed about everything, especially stuff you weren't supposed to laugh at. I can't believe now I'll only hear it in my memories and my videos. I'm so glad I have videos to look back on and remember how it felt to be with you in those moments. You loved your friends and family so much. You were so selfless and kind. Your empathy was amazing. You could feel for people in ways that not many can. I wish you could've became a therapist like you wanted to. You always told me how you wanted to help people and you tried to help me through a really hard time and always gave the best insight and advice. You treated everyone equally and I really admired that about you. You never judged others or thought of yourself above anyone. You had such an amazing heart Macy Miller. I wish we could hang out one more time and eat chips and salsa, play sorry with your dad and Slade, watch true crime documentaries, drive around listening to Molly by Lil Dicky, and do things we weren't supposed to be doing. You had such an adventurous soul and you were always looking for new experiences. I know I'll never have another friend like you Macy Miller. I love you so much, I will never forget you angel.

Macy was one of my best friends since 5th grade. We played softball together and would go on road trips together, she had such a beautiful spirit and soul, her smile would light up the entire room. Her energy and presence made everything feel better. Life without Macy is going to be so different now, I was just with her a few weeks ago i’m glad I got one last night hug and love you bye before she left us. I remember a few years ago on 4th of july we went to kings island and my phone broke and she told my dad she did it on accident so i wouldn’t get in trouble. When we would have softball games Macy would always make this dolphin noise and me and her would crack up for like 10 minutes straight and my dad would get so mad at us cause we thought everything was a joke. I’m beyond grateful and thankful to have been apart of Macy’s life, and her life shall live on forever. Rest easy in paradise princess

Dear Macy,
Thank you for everything. Throughout the years you have become apart of our family and we will all miss you so much. Thank you for helping my brother, my mom and I through the tough times. You were truly a beam of light in everyone’s life. Macy Miller could walk into any room and light it up just with her smile. I remember the first day we met and we instantly became friends. I remember when we got Remy, a puppy, and you were so scared she was going to pee on you because James told you she had gone in his bed. You were truly such a beautiful and amazing friend to everyone you came across. We love and miss you so much Macy.
P.S. Give my dad a hug for me up in paradise ❤️

This breaks my heart truly is a mind blowing situation I stumbled across online. Macy I wish I could’ve been closer to you. It’s sad to say me and you had became strangers over the years but I still cherish every memory I have with you. You we’re my best friend for a long time and those years will be held closely to my heart. I’ll never forget how happy you always were or showed to be on the outside no matter what life handed you, you always seemed to smile through the bullshit and make me laugh. I came to you with so many of my life’s problems and you always had a solution to make it easier. I’ll forever be thankful for that in life and always be thankful that I was able to be your friend. Fly high baby.
