Mary Lou Bernard

Mary Lou was a devoted member of Sigma Phi Gamma for more than 50 years. Throughout her years of service, she held numerous leadership roles, including Past International President and Editor of Buddie, the organization's publication. She treasured the friendships she made through Sigma Phi Gamma and dedicated countless hours to its mission and members.

Mary Lou also enjoyed spending time traveling and camping with her husband, Neil Bernard, and their RV club friends. These adventures created many cherished memories that she carried throughout her life.

Mary Lou is survived by her children, Matthew (Julie) Bernard and Jason Bernard; grandsons, David (Rebecca) Bernard and Robert Bernard; her sisters, Beverly Jackson and Barbara Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Bernard; her son, Todd Bernard; her sister, Adele Holevas; and her brother, John Clerkin.

A private graveside service will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
