Maryanne K. Flanagan passed away February 23, 2026. She was the only daughter of Dr. Hunter F. and Mary Kahl Kennedy. Maryanne was born December 1, 1947. She was educated at Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Pius X, Barat College of the Sacred Heart and graduated from Indiana University. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Thomas G. Kennedy. She is survived by her brothers, Hunter F. Kennedy (Barbara), Dr. Michael W. Kennedy (Terresa) and Kevin P. Kennedy (Stephanie) as well as a cherished extended family. Maryanne is also survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald X. Flanagan, Jr. Per Maryanne's request there will be no calling or services. She will be cremated and her ashes spread at the WACF Memory Garden at Lake Wawasee where the Flanagan/Pfleger families have been summering since 1923.
