She was born on March 11, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Scecina Memorial High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She also graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Indiana University and earned a graduate degree, specializing in special education, from Butler University. She taught in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Indianapolis Public Schools, and retired in June, 2002.
Pam was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church, and enjoyed connecting with high school friends. She lived with dementia before being recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma.
She is immediately survived by her husband, Douglas, and daughter, Genene Murphy, son-in-law Michael, and her two grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Flora Wilsker and her brother-in-law Kenneth, and family.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Pam's life will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Indianapolis on Friday, August 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. EST. Meanwhile, you're welcome to share pictures or memories here.
