

Peter Kenfield Holm reached his ultimate objective in life, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. A native of Carmel, Indiana, Peter went to be with the lord on Wednesday, October 1st in the comfort of his Indianapolis home joined by family. Peter joins his parents Barbara Clauson Holm & Ward Kentfield Holm in heaven and leaves behind three siblings Karen Holm Davis (St. Louis, MO), Holly Holm Guthrie (Rowlett, TX), & Woodland Ward Holm (Fishers, IN).
He was a devoted husband to Maureen Fox Holm for 40 years and blessed with 3 children Nathaniel Deacon Holm (Devon Rufin Holm), Madelyn Celeste Holm, & Olivia Grace Holm Armstrong (Michael Armstrong) all of whom live in the Indianapolis area. Peter was able to be around for the beginning lives of three grandchildren (Palmer Deacon Holm, Easton Lawrence Holm, & Nellie Grace Armstrong) to which he adored and cherished.
Peter was a proud graduate of Carmel High School Class of 1970 where he was member of the Basketball & Golf teams during his four years. During his time on the golf team, he was most notable for being apart of the first ever Carmel HS State Championship winning the Indiana Golf Team Championship in the spring of 1970 along with his teammates who he had rekindled a wonderful relationship with in his final years of life. Peter went on to play basketball and golf at Wake Forest University graduating in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. He adored his Demon Deacon athletics instilling a love for college sports in all of his family. Golf was always a happy place for Peter and after attempting the professional golf circuit for a couple years post college, he spent most of his career in sales & fundraising roles while raising a family in Richmond, IN & Connersville, IN. In 2016, Peter & Maureen moved back to Indianapolis, IN to retire and play more golf. He was blessed with many personal accomplishments in life and golf however nothing made him happier than returning to his hometown (Carmel, IN) for the final ten years of his life to be closer to his 3 children, family members, and many friends from his younger years.
For those available to honor his life, services are scheduled for Monday, October 13th beginning with a visitation at 9:30am, followed by a funeral mass & celebration of life at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, and ending with burial at Carmel Cemetery at 2pm.
