Phyllis Ann Meyer, age 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on August 9, 2021. She was born in Celina, Ohio to Harold and Helen Ruetschilling. Phyllis was the oldest of two siblings, Judy Whitford and David Ruetschilling. She grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she met the love of her life, Bill Meyer. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 12, 2021.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling across the world, including several trips to Hawaii and Palm Desert, California. They both enjoyed the many challenges and successes of building and designing new homes. She cherished making lasting memories with her family and friends. Phyllis lived her life as a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Meyer and their three sons, Mike (Julie), Blaine (Julie), Nathan, and one daughter, Andrea. Phyllis had seven wonderful grandchildren, Rebecca, Jacob, Kevin, Grace, Andrew, Amelia, and Will whom she thoroughly enjoyed and loved.
