Priscilla "Polly" Ingram Savage died on Friday, July 10 in Bedford, IN where she was a resident. She was 57. Polly touched and impacted the lives of many people in different ways. Friends and family who loved Polly knew they could put nothing past her; she had everybody’s number, all the time, and it was a mistake to underestimate her. She will be remembered for what those close to her knew as humor, and for the meticulous, loving care she gave her treasured baby dolls. Polly is survived by her brother, Bradley Savage, Bensenville, IL; sister Cynthia (Savage) Drouin and brother-in-law Jim Drouin, Indianapolis, IN; nieces Caitlin Drouin, Carmel, IN, and Kristin Drouin, Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, Priscilla S. Savage and the Reverend Frederic Waldo Savage. Polly was supported, appreciated, and championed through the years by an exceptional team including Brandi Elliott, Terri Bible, Lorelle Bond, Billie Woods, and Natalie Sturbaum, and these individuals made all the difference for Polly. The family will hold a private celebration of Polly’s life in the fall, as well as a celebration for close friends and caregivers at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Indiana.
