Robert [Bob] Clyde Bowers Jr., 57, of Carmel, IN, passed away on May 26, 2021.Bob was born on November 29, 1963, to Robert and Anne Bowers in Indianapolis, IN. Bob attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel then graduated from Cathedral High School in 1983, he went on to attend Indiana State University and Colorado State University where in 1984 he met his future wife Suzanne.
After college, he worked in the construction industry. On August 6, 1988 in Aurora, CO, Bob and Suzanne were wed. They went on to have three children, Gabrielle, Bobby, and Katie and two grandchildren. Most recently, Bob was employed as a truck driver with Baumgartner & Company Asphalt Paving. Bob and his children also provided annual snow plow service to many in the Indianapolis area.
Bob was a stubborn force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Suzanne, his kids and grandkids.
Bob loved bluegrass music and could often be found attending music festivals in Bean Blossom, Indiana. He was an avid clock and gun collector. Anyone who knew Bob knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert C Bowers, Sr., grandparents and his lifelong friend John Matthews. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Suzanne [Camp] Bowers, his children, Gabrielle [Jessie] Baker, Robert [Monica] Clyde Bowers III, and Katherine Bowers, his grandchildren, Robert Clyde Bowers IV and Crosby Katherine Baker, his mother, Anne Bowers Bradley, siblings, Brigitte [Joseph] Dayan, Kate [Peg Brady] Bowers and Patrick [Ellen] Bowers.

Family and friends will gather in Leppert Mortuary [740 E 86th Street] on Tuesday June 1st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 2nd with Eulogy at 10:15 am and 10:30 am Mass all at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel.
