Nearly 40 years ago, Bob took a huge chance hiring a 32 yo former cigarette salesman who never had a class in auditing... to be an auditor! Here he is at my retirement party with Dave Whitman and Dan Broughton... two other Pwc OMPs who made a HUGE difference in my life. But Bob started it all.

Bob was a trusted advisor and life long friend to his Noble family.  He and Gerry were tremendous advocates for people with disabilities and the staff who cared for them, supporting many educational scholarships for front line workers.  We will miss Bob, as we miss Gerry.  Sending prayers and comfort to the Decraene family.

Bob was a great friend to Noble of Indiana.  I was CFO at Noble for a number of years and regularly interacted with Bob and benefited greatly from his guidance.  He was an outstanding supporter of Noble and could always be counted on in his leadership capacity during his board service.  He will be missed.
