Obituary of Sara Louise Eiszner
Sara Louise Eiszner, 31, died unexpectedly on November 6 at her home in Indianapolis. Sara was born December 25, 1989 in Indianapolis and spent her life here. She attended North Central High School and IUPUI. Sara was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis, where she served as an acolyte and as a chorister with Trinity Choir. She travelled to England with the choir in 2002 and 2005 and sang in the cathedrals of Winchester, Chichester, Bristol and Durham. Sara also played the cello and was active in local arts, including North Central’s King’s Court Singers and Descants. More than anything she enjoyed music, and was a huge supporter of aspiring musicians and artists. She loved travel, drawing, photography and writing. She was a great lover of animals and a firm advocate for social justice. Sara is survived by her parents, John and Cheryl Eiszner, sister Julia Eiszner, maternal grandmother, Maryann Sherman, uncle Rodney Sherman (Susan Spier), aunt Laura Newman, aunt Janice Adkins, aunt Lorraine (Bruce) Alden, her cousins Eric Alden, Melissa (Jon) Scott, Grant Sherman, Adam Adkins (Sarah Scott), Rider Adkins (Kaleigh Byrd), Olivia Adkins, and her beloved cat Jerry. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis, on Wednesday, November 17 at 4:00 PM. Masks are required for this service. Non-vaccinated or high-risk individuals are respectfully encouraged to attend via live stream instead of in person. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sara’s memory to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, or to the choral department of North Central High School.
