Walter "Bo" Peter Boroski, age 80, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey to Emma Lillian Boroski and Walter "Stutz" Peter Boroski on August 23, 1942.
Bo graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1960. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
While raising his family in Tifton, Georgia, he was an active member of the Elks Club, the Catholic Men's Group, and the Knights of Columbus.
Bo is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann Boroski; his son, John Michael Boroski (Whitney); his daughter, Amy Lynn Childs; his son, Craig "Bo" Joseph Boroski (Katie); and his sister, Terry Patrick. Bo is also survived by his 6 amazing grandchildren Emma, Dreama, Caroline, Charlotte, Joey, and Anthony.
Bo was preceded in death by his father Walter "Stutz" Peter Boroski and his mother Emma Lillian Boroski.
Bo was a diehard sports fan. His love of the New York Yankees made gift-giving a no-brainer. From baseball, to basketball, to football, to golf, and tennis, sports were his passion. Bo was so many things to so many different people. He was known as Buddy, Guy, Walter, Bo, Dad, Big Bo, Dziadziu, Popski, and PopPop. All of these names were the same loving, hardworking, funny, encouraging, proud, sports fanatic family man we all know and love, and will miss deeply.
A visitation for Bo will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5885 N. Crittenden Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46220, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Immediately following the mass, there will be a gathering at the home of Bo and Katie Boroski, 7050 N. Park Ave., Indianapolis, until 3:30pm.
