Wendy had such a big heart! I was fortunate to get to know her at the Center For Pain Management. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and this showed in her nursing. Her patients loved her! She will be missed!

I met Wendy at Center for Pain Management, she was a wonderful person inside and out. My most favorite memory of Wendy is when she would share stories from her career as a nurse at Eskanazi burn unit. Wendy was a dedicated Registered Nurse serving her life to care for others. She had a way of telling stories that made you feel like you were there. Wendy’s patients always adored her. Wendy loved her son so much and I hope they have found each other in Heaven. I will always remember her as a selfless dedicated nurse and mother.

I met Wendy in orientation at Center for Pain Management in 2016. I instantly liked her sweet and funny personality. I worked with her until I left in August of 2019 and I wish so badly I would have kept in touch. She had so much empathy for others, loved her son and mother more than anyone in the world and her patients adored her. She is missed terribly so many. Love you Wendy.

It was a blessing to work with Wendy and get to know her over the years. She showed me what real strength looks like— I don’t think Ive met anyone stronger than her. It makes me smile thinking about her catching up and joking with patients and staff at work. She knew all about her patient’s lives and would listen to all their stories. She was always so patient and kind! They all LOVED her. Im grateful for all of the memories we shared together. She will be missed by so many. Fly high beautiful angel 💕

I’ve known Wendy since were just young girls. Our lives took us in different directions over the years. We reconnected with the passing of her Son Alex & continued to stay in touch. We even had an awesome girls weekend (Jill, Lauri, Wendy & myself) after that, thanks to Covid we Zoomed! She was a Mom, animal lover, nurse, friend & very funny. Her spirit will be missed by many but I know she is at peace now. Love you Friend 😇

Wendy Jo Thompson Colter was a kind soul to many. A nurse, and mom to Alex Colter who went to heaven before her. She was a true friend that I’ve known since I was 12! She had a great smile and beautiful eyes! She had many difficult challenges in this life and I pray she is now at peace. I miss Wendy greatly! Bubba is safe with her new family that Wendy chose. She loved him dearly and made sure he was taken care of. Fly high Wendy and watch over us!

Wendy had the biggest heart. The week we moved to Indiana I met her, and she immediately took me into her circle. She was a good and loyal friend. I'm sorry we lost touch over the years, but will always have great memories of our times together. God bless her. I know she is happy and at peace with Alex now.
