Brian Gregory Hannigan

Hannigan, Brian Gregory - 41, passed away at home on Thursday, August 9, 2012, in Inverness. Brian was born in Inverness on November 25, 1970, and was a son of the late Gregory William and Hughena (Young) Hannigan. Brian was kind man who would help anybody in need, he enjoyed the outdoors and well as listening to good music and a bingo game or two, He will be sadly missed by his family and all who came to know him. He is survived by sisters, Betty Hannigan and Deborah Hannigan, Inverness; Colleen (Kevin), Hawley, Port Hood; brothers, Raymond “Jake” (Melinda), Port Hawkesbury; uncle, Melvin (Tina) Young, Port Hawkesbury; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 28 at 2 p. m. in St. Patrick’s Parish Cemetery, North East Margaree with Fr. Doug MacDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund or to a charity of your choice.
