It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian Alexander MacIsaac on Thursday December 1, 2022 in Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, Ontario.
Brian was the son of Bernadette MacIsaac (Moran) and the late Jerome MacIsaac of Upper Southwest Mabou (Glencoe) on March 6, 1964.
Brian graduated from Mabou Consolidated School in 1983 and later decided to move to Toronto in 1986 where this became his home. He was a supervisor who worked for many years in shipping and receiving of goods and services. He was a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan and an avid pool player who enjoyed winning. He was quite a social butterfly who loved life to the fullest. For the many years that he spent in Toronto, he made many a friend who will miss him dearly.
Brian is survived by his mother, Bernadette; brothers and sisters, Dan, Bernie, Sam, Marlene (Lorne), Irene (Darrell), Jerry, Kim (Kevin) Bruce (Carol) and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Jerome; nephew, Jerome and partner, Lorraine Crawford.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses of Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for their care and compassion before and after his passing.
Visitation will take place on Monday December 12, 2022 in Port Hood and Area Resting Place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday in St. Joseph's Church, Glencoe at 11:00 a.m. with Father Bernie MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery Fund, Glencoe.
