I just learned of Carman's passing today. I worked with Carman for years and he made each and everyday an adventure and a Joy . His laugh and smile was contagious to everyone he worked with or cared for. In the short time I did have the pleasure of knowing him he was a dear friend to me. We often laughed that we may be related somehow as he had the same last name as my family , he was born the same year and we were 2 days apart on our birthdays. We used to love night shifts and would make pizzas that we would share with all the staff working those nights in the building. He loved to talk about his girls, he so loved his family . He will be greatly missed by many . Truly one of a kind, thanks for all my great memories Carman. Condolences to Carman's Family.

I am shocked and saddened at news of Carman's passing. I worked with Carman for many years at Macaulay Lodge. His sense of humour and kindness to Residents and co-workers made every shift with him enjoyable. Always a gentleman, Carman had a gift for putting people at ease and making them laugh. Often the first face seen by a Resident on waking, his soft, "Good morning, Cap'n," to a man or a "How are you, m'dear," to a woman was always welcomed with a smile.
My sincere condolences to Carman's family and close friends.

I enjoyed working with Carman for many years in Continuing Care, Yukon - we were on the same team. He was well-liked by a lot of our residents and staff for his humour, sincerity and hard work. He had the knck to make everyone smile or laugh even in a crises-ridden situation. My deepest condolence to the family especially to Darcey and Rhyann who I came to meet and know through Tammy and my daughters. You will be missed Carman.

I would like to start off by sending my heart felt condolences to the ALL the family! There are no words to express how much Carman will be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.
Carman joined our Work Options program here in Port Hawkesbury, and very quickly caught everyone's attention with his kind warm smile and contagious laugh. We all knew Carmen had a gift to share with everyone, especially the residents of a nursing home. Carmen will forever be in my heart as well as all the participants in the program.
Rest in peace Carman.
