Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the sudden passing of Candy (Carmel). She was a fun loving lady who loved life and people and always had a beautiful smile. We did have a visit with her when she was living at Melville Heights and it was during the Christmas Season and she was full of Christmas spirit all around her apartment as it was beautifully decorated. We had a good chat and we will cherish those memories for years to come.

May the sorrow you feel in your hearts lighten by the love that surrounds you all during this difficult time. Know that Candy is at peace and not suffering anymore. God’s love and many prayers are all around you - now and for as long as it takes.

Love Sharon and Ron MacDonald

We Boston cousins are heartbroken to know of Carmel's passing. May she rest in peace. But from what I know of Carmel, she will be busy in heaven.

My deepest condolences to Carmel’s family. I had the privilege to be Carm’s hairstylist for about twenty years since she lived in Halifax. The proudest Cape Breton gal that I had the privilege to know. She will be greatly missed.

Carmel will always be remembered for her sense of humour, and her clear view of the world, despite her bad eyesight. She and Mike were wonderful neighbors, as were her parents before them. She will be missed so much by our family.
