It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend on August 5, 2022.
She was born in Halifax on July 15th, 1964. Darlene was a kind, sweet, and generous person. Her greatest love of her life was her three boys.
Doing things for others made her the happiest. She loved her job at Tri-Harbour Dental, Inverness and at NSP Office in Mabou.
She loved her pets, plants, and playing bingo with her bingo family. She also loved going to the beach and doing crafts. She loved holidays and birthdays, but especially Christmas. She loved cooking and baking. She will be dearly missed by her mother Gwen whom she chatted with every day and visited often.
Heaven gained a new Angel and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Darlene was predeceased by her father, Ronald DeBaie and is survived by her loving husband, Gordon; her boys, Kyle, Robbie and Scott; her mother, Gwen; sisters, Hazel (Doreen), Chrissy (Aubrey), Susan (Scott); brother, Tim (Barb) and many aunts, uncles, cousins and twelve nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in St. Mary's Church, Mabou on Sunday August 14th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held in St. Mary's Church, Mabou on Monday August 15th at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Due to family request masks are encouraged.
