

MacLennan, Franklyn Bernard Age 77, passed away at home on Saturday, March 5, 2016, in Inverness. He was born in Inverness on August 2, 1938 and was a son of the late Bernard and Vivian (MacMillan) MacLennan. He was a member of Stella Maris church in Inverness. Frankie worked most of his life in Ontario before moving back home to his beloved Cape Breton. He loved to spend his time watching sports and enjoyed many hours outside in the sun doing his crossword puzzles. He was always excited around holidays and looked forward to spending quality time with all of his grandkids. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who came to know him.
Frankie is survived by his children, Mark (Darcy), Ontario; Brenda (Craig), Ontario; Jody, Ontario; brother, David, Inverness; sisters, Donalda (Ernest), Inverness; Jean, Ontario; Diana (Donnie), Ontario. He is also survived by grandchildren, Nicole, Brandy, Jake, Tiffany, Justine, Ivana; great-grandchildren, Owen, Cameron, Gavin and Jaylyn; and several nieces and nephews. Frankie was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Susan (Genno) MacLennan. Visitation will be held in Inverness funeral home on Sunday, March 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11a.m. in Stella Maris church in Inverness with Fr.
