George Gregory Leblanc

George Gregory LeBlanc, 74, passed away at Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital on December 5, 2022. Greg was born on December 13, 1947 and grew up in Margaree. He was the son of Philias and Emma (Cormier) LeBlanc. He attended Nova Scotia Teacher’s College and taught Industrial Arts at NDA school in Cheticamp. Upon his retirement, he resided in Port Hood.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughters Giselle, Dartmouth, Annette (Douglas Campbell), Stittsville, ON; three grandsons: Aidan Romkey, Justin and Liam Campbell; stepdaughter Tina (George Urquhart); step granddaughter Amanda (Bernie MacDonald), step grandson, Tyson; sister Yvonne LeBlanc; brother Simon LeBlanc. He was predeceased by his parents Philias (1995) and Emma (1984); sisters, Marie Blanche Romard (2019), Cecile and Theresa in infancy; brother Emile (2012).

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Burial service will take place at St, Michael’s Cemetery, Margaree at 1:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2022 with father Peter LeBlanc officiating.
