Kenneth Gerald "Maxie" Hannigan

Kenneth was born on December 30, 1985 to Gerald Wyrwas and the late Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Hannigan both of Inverness.

Kenneth, also known to everyone as "Maxie" graduated high school from Inverness Education Centre-Academy in 2004. He then moved out west to Edmonton, Alberta where he worked for Western Moving Ltd Company and continued working with them for roughly 18 years.

He was a loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan and enjoyed watching games faithfully. His favorite pass-time was hanging out with family and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his father, Gerald Wyrwas, Mabou; Bobby Joe Hannigan, Edmonton AB; Brittany Hannigan-Basker (Brenton), Inverness; nephew, Donald James "D.J" Hannigan; his girlfriend of 6 years, Shelley West, Edmonton, AB. Kenneth is also survived by many friends, especially his best friends, John Mullins and Barbara Timmons.

He will also be greatly missed by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Besides his mom, Betty, Kenneth was predeceased by his grandmothers, Hughena Hannigan, Rita Wyrwas; grandfathers, Greg Hannigan, Maxie Wyrwas; and uncles, Brian Hannigan and Harold Wyrwas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 28 from 3-9 p.m. in Inverness Funeral Home . Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Inverness with Father Daniel Tshimbalanga officiating.

Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
