Margaret Mac Dougall

MacDougall, Margaret- 87, of Broad Cove Banks, Inverness, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, surrounded by family. Born in Halifax on March 1, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (MacInnis) Beaton. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex MacDougall and is survived by children, Danny (Kathleen), Wendy (Louis) Lanceleve, both of Inverness, Sandy (Rosealie) Mississauga, Ont.; Billy (Mary), Lower Sackville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces. She is also survived by sisters, Anne (Pat) Beatty, Bridgewater; Theresa (late George) Brennan, Halifax; brother, Joseph Beaton, Dartmouth. Besides her husband she is also predeceased by brother, Billy and a brother Ronald in infancy. Visitation will be held in Inverness Funeral Home on Thursday September 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday at 11am in Stella Maris Church, Inverness with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made Inverary Manor, Inverness.
