Mary Florence Burton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and our friend. Mary Florence Burton, 54, from Inverness, NS passed away on July 20th, 2017 peacefully in her home.

She was predeceased by her son, Victor Keegan; father, Arthur Burton; sister, Gloria Ann, and uncle Victor Varrence. She is survived by her daughter, Faith Hope; mother, Rose; sisters, Joan and Eva; brother, Robert, and companion Ray.

She will be remembered for her unconditional love, her warm hugs, her creativity, her sense of humor, and her kindness towards everyone she met. She will be missed dearly by all. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24th, in Inverness Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Funeral mass for Florence will be held on Tuesday, July 25th at 10 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, with father Fr. Dan Macdonald officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery alongside her son Keegan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or to Stella Maris Parish Cemetery Fund, Inverness.
