Mrs. Rona Hart, age 66, of Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Mabou, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at her residence.

Born in Inverness, she was the daughter of John Gunn and Flora Bell (Henderson) MacLean.

She was a member of St. Matthew’s United parish, Inverness.

She is survived by her husband, Roger, daughter Beverley Hart, son Bradley Hart, sisters Helen (Mrs. John Angus MacPhereson), Arlington, MA; grandchildren Quinten, Amber, Kelsey and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers Edwin (Beulah) MacLean, Brien (Jane Marie) MacLean, Myron (Melva) MacLean, Douglas “Red” (Mary Helen) MacLean, all of Inverness and sister Mary (Mrs. Murdock Smith), Medford, MA.

Visitation for Mrs. Hart will take place on Friday, October 12 from 5 – 9 pm at St. Matthew’s Church, Inverness. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 13 at 2 pm in St. Matthew’s United Church with Rev. Maggie Plant officiating.
