To the MacKinnon family,
I worked with Sadie at St. Mary's Hospital and also the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Sadie was always a dedicated coworker and treated everyone with respect. 
One fond memory we have about Sadie is when she drove us to Antigonish, with her half ton truck, when we were moving there and I think it was after a night shift...she was a good friend.

Sadie was one of the kindest persons I knew.  She would go over board to help someone in need.  She was a nurse at IMCH when I had our Becky and she went all out.  She wasn't on maternity floor but she put in her extra time doing what she could for us.  I still have a stuffed pink panther that she gave Becky which she carried around with her until she started school       Marion Beaton

There is NOT enough paper to say or tell of my memories of Sadie .We worked for many years together in two hospitals in Inverness .St Mary's & Inverness Consolidated Memorial .As we all know stories from work could not be told if patients were involved. However there were MANY l laughs, a few tears but Amazing  stories .We all remember her car & her winter gear .I could walk but she drove in terrible storms and NEVER complained BUT was ALWAYS  positive . Although I worked in a different department I would see Sadie frequently. She was always lighthearted, helpful and efficient. So very sorry to hear of Sadie’s death.I have fond memories of Sadie while we were in nursing training at old Halifax Infirmary back in 1966..May she RIP.

Sadie is also survived by hergrand-daughter, Chloe; her four legged companion, Jake; sisters, Catherine (D.J.) Mac Gillivray, Mull River; Anne Marie, (Donald John) Mac Kinnon, Orangedale; and Margaret Gawluk, Calgary; sisters in-law, Lydia and Barb of Winnipeg; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers, Alexander Duncan "A.D." and Lauchie; and niece, Catherine Anne.
