Willard Joseph MacIsaac

Willard was born on July 21, 1938 to the late Ernest (Ferris) MacIsaac and Mary Dorothy (White) MacIsaac.

He was an honorable man who loved to be surrounded by loved ones. He had a love and passion for work, especially his sawmill, in which he spent lots of time with best friend, Clifton Sangster and Jimmy MacIsaac.

Willard's other passion was serving the community in which he did through opening well know restaurant, Jingles in Inverness. Jingles was known for the best pizza in town.

He is survived by his life partner, Sylvia Poirier; 3 sons who he loved dearly, Ernest, Jordan and Shawn MacIsaac; 9 step children, Joey (Neilena), Simon, Georgina (Sven) Novosel, Jimmy (Samantha), Steven (Mandy), Paddy (Lorraine), Charles (Dawn), Johnny (Candace) and Ryan; siblings, Melvin MacIsaac, Helen (Fred) MacKinnon, Beverly (John) Duquette, Stella MacIsaac, Erna (Fred) Fitzner, and Jane (Charlie) Smith. Willard was also blessed with 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Besides his parents, Willard is predeceased by his brother, Malcolm MacKay, sister, Mary Beaton and his step daughter, Catherine Poirier.

Funeral Mass will be held in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Broad Cove on Saturday, January 27th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
