

Betty Jo Lindsey, 91, went to be home with the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Electra Memorial Park in Electra, Texas under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.
Betty was born July 27, 1928 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Louis Franklin and Rosie Mae Milligan. She married William Grandvell “W.G.” Lindsey on May 13, 1946 in Tipton, Oklahoma. Betty loved crafting, raising and caring for her parakeets, and was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed attending church and loved her family dearly.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, W.G. Lindsey; one son, David Louis Lindsey; two brothers and one sister.
Surviving relatives include her children, Grandvell Lynn Lindsey and his wife, Madeline of Charleston, South Carolina; Kathy Cowan and her husband, Bud of Lockhart, Texas; Ray Lindsey of Bedford, Texas; James Lindsey and his wife, Billie of Haskell, Texas; Tammy Jones of Wichita Falls, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Rebecca Martin of Blair, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Electra Police Department, First Responders, and the kind nurses at United Regional Hospital for their loving care during this difficult time.
Memorials are suggested to the Electra Senior Citizens Center and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
